Reservation Terms & Conditions
Rates
Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD$) and include continental breakfast.
Prices includes 15% GST.
Rates are based on one or two persons sharing a room.
Long Weekends
For New Zealand long weekends and public holidays, a 2-night minimum booking applies.
Child Policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children. The Hide Kāpiti is located on a working farm with steep terrain leading directly to the sea. Electric fences, cattle, and sheep present additional hazards for young adventurers.
Animal Policy
While we love animals, The Hide Kāpiti is situated on our working farm. For the safety of your pets and our livestock, no animals are permitted.
Number of Occupants
Your booking at The Hide Kāpiti is valid only for the guests confirmed at the time of booking. No functions or parties are allowed without prior written consent. Guest visitors are not permitted unless otherwise authorised by the Hosts. If visitors are found to be present, we reserve the right to evict all guests immediately without refund.
Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, if you are not confident driving up our hill we can accommodate escorting you to the site if prior arranged.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
The property must be fully vacated by check-out. Late departures may incur a surcharge. Early check-in or late check-out requests will be accommodated where possible.
No Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Breaches of this policy will result in a $500 NZD cleaning fee.
Damages
We’ve built a robust, comfortable environment for you.
If anything breaks, please let us know before departure.
Damage beyond normal wear and tear (e.g. to the bed, shower, chairs, kitchen bench, bath, or outdoor furniture) will be charged to the guest.
Liability
The Hide Kāpiti is not liable for the loss of guest property
We are not responsible for any medical issues occurring before, during, or after your stay
Guests are advised to stay on marked paths and avoid venturing out at night; we are not responsible for accidents arising from such actions.
Any disputes will be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Indemnity
You, the guest, agree to indemnify The Hide Kāpiti against any liability for damage, injury, or loss (personal or property-related) suffered by anyone due to any action or inaction by you or your visitors.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
